I remember when I was a very young kid, being with grandfather while he worked on motorized equipment. He slipped and gashed his hand and had a good amount of blood but didn't seem to notice. I pointed it out to him and he shrugged it off and kept working. I was amazed because I would have cried in pain if it were me. Now, that I'm older I understand. Living in a 40 something year old body has had me increasing my tolerance to pain on the daily.
