You can't summarize these many methodologies, frameworks, etc down to one word. The Comp Sci profs can extoll these lofty, praiseworthy ideals from the safety of their tenured university positions. Once you actually work in the IT industry, it's much more cut-throat, and short-term oriented. It's about making money as fast as possible, cutting many corners. The #enshittification comes from this. This tension between idealism and brutal pragmatism cannot be dispelled by waving a magic wand and saying any one woo woo word like "compassion".
