Working through The Black Count: Glory, Revolution, Betrayal, and the Real Count of Monte Cristo by Tom Reiss. Pretty sure I added it to my TBR on the rec of someone here on Mastodon, and I am so glad I did. So much great history that I didn't know and plenty of action to keep me interested. Alex Dumas (father of the author, yes, THAT Alexandre Dumas) was a genuine badass and it's fun to learn about him. #FridayReads #AmReading #Books #Bookstodon #Biography #NonFiction #Histodons bookstodon group (npub1ny7…uv57)
