Bruegel's Tower of Babel has also been adopted - by sergey (npub1g82…rdtq), I think - as unofficial logo for the LangSec methodology to structurally improve cybersecurity. LangSec (see https://langsec.org) recognises the multitude of overly complex and poorly defined input languages (think PDF, X509, JPEG or IPSEC) - usually in multiple versions or with bewildering set of options - as important root cause of many security problems, so here the Babel analogy is particularly apt.
