It is still utterly baffling to me that I'm writing #policy documents. I have been involved in doing that for a few years now, and for some reason, people listen when I talk about certain things.
Now it would be nice to see any of those actually properly materialize...
Being with an SFF background (as a reader and writer) is actually remarkably helpful in these. Being able to envision and articulate the possible paths makes a difference.
