It's usually a little bit hit or miss, but this has to be the worst year I've seen in ages. We tend to fluctuate between really hot, very dry summers or summers that just don't show up; so one year tomatoes, and squash will do well, and then the cold years the greens tend to hold things up, but this year has been like someone flicking the light switch on and off over and over again.
