Another impressive thing I discovered about the free version of Onshape is that their iOS app allows you to do object and environment Lidar scans right from your phone and the mesh is imported straight into your project.

I enjoy their business model. The free version forces you to only have public projects. If you go pro which adds simulation, rendering and private projects - it's 1500€/year.

I can do simulation and rendering otherwise :)
Will give FreeCad/AstoCad another look as well someday
