honestly though the part that makes it scary is more that Apple seemingly has a monopoly on convenient aircraft information systems, and that we're trusting such important matters to a big tech company. like, can't we just make or use an opensource linux tablet that does the job? the rest of the airplane is already linux, why not the EFB? did manufacturers get so lazy they outsource it all?
