From what I understand, bird flu *can* (not necessarily will) give you pink eye, but the current flu can't. So. If you get pink eye, take it a lot more seriously. Also, I'd reccomend seeing what less dysfunctional governments with good healthcare (like Canada) reccomend that people do.
