I called this 5 years ago (https://lobste.rs/c/jgro9y) and have a better way to say it:
There are improvement rates like Moore's Law and its siblings for disk size, bandwidth, etc. Because Lobsters grows less than those rates it has effectively infinite runway to scale, and it gets cheaper to run over time.
