"By the Law of Jutland of 1241, you may fill your hat with whatever you can pluck."

One of my favourite times of year. It's like Foraging Christmas, when the council sticks the prettiest wooden signs in bushes and trees around the city. The signs literally point at edible plants and wild fruit and invite us to fill our hats and pockets.

They’ve made it even easier this year, adding helpful ’We are ripe!' signs at the right times.
