I really liked the idea of Ark, but the player-hostile developers left a bad taste in my mouth. (Why don't your tames respawn?) The final nail in the coffin so to speak was their secret backroom deal with Nitrado, incl. code to ban people from running public servers.

The whole "mysterious superciv. makes you live in dino land" concept is really cool, and I do respect all the ....thousands of hours the devs put into creating these amazing dinos, but they uh... wasted their time, and it's not a good community to be a part of. You can do better.
