back in the 90s you would buy stable and efficient software which worked for you, but now you get software for free thats completely slop, works against you, is unstable as anything, yeah

i like foss, but it realistically isn't sustainable, id happily pay kde and other foss organizations for software knowing that they have my best interests in mind, they wont enslopify the software, code will be kept efficient, and it will work for me the way i need it to
