I was taking a shower earlier this evening and had a thought, “How long do patents last on appliances?”
The answer it seems is twenty years.
With that in mind, someone should start a company making a washing machine based on a 1950’s design.
No AI, no microchips just an easy to repair made in the United States washing machine that is easily serviceable.
