6:50 AM. Called into exam room. Explained situation to nurse. He took my blood pressure (high) and temperature (below "normal" but high for me). Said his shift ends at 7 and they like to get everyone in the system before they go. Told me to wait and left.
I moved off the gurney and onto a chair to be more comfortable.
Reminder here: this is not an emergency in the literal sense of the word. But 2 doctors told me to come here so here I am.
