Going down the “we’ll do Bitcoin differently and better” path is foolish.
You can’t convince the layman of the technical reasons yours is superior when they don’t even want to run a node themselves. One coin will be worth hundreds of times more than the other, yours constantly suppressed, and you end up as the exit liquidity. That situation won't solve anything.
An alt chain has a lower probability of success than the BIP ever did. If the fight was worth having, it’s worth continuing.
Momentum against Core v30+ was still building right up until BIP-110 failed, and it will pick up again. The BIP’s failure was one of argument and execution, not of purpose.
Yes, inscriptions are an exploit rather than an intended feature. Yes, UTXO bloat functions as a DoS attack on Bitcoin’s decentralisation, whether or not intentionally. But this money isn’t just nodes, miners and tokens. There are real people and entities you have to work with to enact change, and being combatively forthright isn’t enough.
Learn and grow and build on bitcoin, come back from the brink.
Or do the opposite and seal your fate and memory.
