So I have been doing some financial stuff for us using Libre Office, dusting off some very old knowledge as I assemble it.
Partner has decided that I need an app, and he is going to make it for practice as he is a developer.
He is making it to practice using AI prompts.
He did not ask why I am doing it this way (to learn), if I wanted another solution (I don't), or if I wanted a solution made with AI (I don't).
To me this feels like a lot of software development right now. Find a problem, fix it for personal reasons, do it the way you want, and assume there's a user who wants it without checking if there is a user who wants it. And ram AI into it because AI.
