🏎️💻 The IBM PC Convertible (Model 5140) is a laptop from 1986, the successor to the much larger and bulkier PC Portable. Unlike its predecessor, this is a true laptop that operates on batteries, and it features a monochrome LCD screen, replacing the cathode-ray tube.
