Not going to link to it and give them view but there’s an article about how there’s an “estrangement epidemic” or w/e of adult children cutting off contact with their parents and therapists are to blame.
Maybe they don’t want to be around people who make them cry all the time. Or the parents fail to take responsibility for the trauma they caused them. Or they’re just setting reasonable boundaries with unreasonable people. Or they’re queer and etc.
People don’t cut off their parents for trivial reasons.
