I loved David Foster Wallace‘s nonfiction writing, in fact that’s how I was introduced to his work! Then I tried reading infinite jest and stalled out about 1/3 of the way through

I really admired his sentences, but for some reason the book just didn’t click with me

but yeah, I am Gen X, and a lot of Gen X literary types I know truly love his fiction
