People like to talk about guillotines when the government is peaceful and cowardly - but a few heads on a few pikes in the city center and all of the talk about guillotines subsides in a real hurry.
To accomplish his dream, the aristocrat does not need women and minorities to vote for him, he needs physical muscle and nothing else.
That muscle is readily available right now, from white men who are the most hated demographic by the current ruling system.
We don't need "popular support" for aristocracy, we just need someone willing to actually be a Prince.
