Absolutely, I agree that we should not censor our language to make ugly things polite… (I grew up with enough German culture that shit is shit not poop or number 2 or whatever someone’s waspy grandma wants it to be) The ugly things we are fighting are ugly, they are awful, and the language that describes it needs to be jarring, ugly, awful, and uncomfortable if it’s going to be accurate.
