The Lex Herald-Leader was gutted a while back. It's worthless now.
The only way local papers can survive is to go uber-local. Nobody's interested in two day old Wall St Journal articles or things people have seen on TV and Social Media all day long.
Instead local papers should publish every single local event happening, focus on city/county govt happenings, and local businesses and nonprofits - their struggles and successes.
Right now the HL has nothing of value, even online.
