It could well be some random AI FOMO nonsense that was hastily picked up or vibe coded just to check a box, hopefully so.
It's just unnerving because(while this appears to be the ill-designed and "AI" flavored utility) what the utility does and what the defect would allow appear very, very, similar to actually important 'insert secret at last second'/'use secret on behalf of' cases.
Hopefully it is just random tickbox fodder.
