Even very intelligent people who have been quite ill during some bouts with it will then not bother to simply mask. This is the case with at least one of my friends at the dinner I will not attend tonight.
The other day our veterinarian came by (she does house calls) to give rabies shots. I was masked. She wasn’t. She wouldn't have if I weren't. We talked about Covid and she said she had it twice and “It's amazing how sick you get!”
I don't get it.
