Sydney is building its OWN fleet of ferries that will be battery powered. I cannot even IMAGINE how game-changing this will be for the ocean life around Sydney. Best part is its going to be locally built. They will not have to depend on another country to build it for them. It will employ local workers. A lesson here for everyone.

This eighth vessel would be Sydney Ferries’ first electric vessel and would provide the road map for the introduction of new electric ferries across the harbour."
