My own OBB nightjet experience was terrible, and I know the Amsterdam to Berlin night route was cancelled when DB introduced ICE* service, didn't think it was happening system wide though.

* Dunno if it's actual ICE but the DB route is 3h shorter than it used to be a few years ago and they don't change locomotives at the Dutch border anymore
