The only options to follow what's going on at my own (Utrecht) university are through big US, Trump abiding commercial tech companies: Meta (Facebook, instagram), Alphabet (Youtube) and Microsoft (LinkedIn). OK, we ditched X, but that is not enough. Do you know examples of universities that do much better in this regard? What are the best practices? Can we have a thread here of institutions that (fully) moved to Mastodon, Peertube, ...? Also interested in their explicit motivations to do so.
