Small Quill update (quill.hivescope.xyz), a text-first Nostr client:
• Following now checks for new notes every minute. If you're scrolled down, a "↑ N new notes" button puts them on top, without moving what you're reading.
• Quoted polls (NIP-88) show their question and options instead of an empty box.
• Custom emoji reactions show as ✨ instead of their raw :name:. Their images aren't loaded, so no third-party server sees who's reading.
• Fewer false "new follower" alerts: some relays answer late, and that's no longer mistaken for a new follow.
• Scrolling a thread on iPhone no longer stops while it loads.
Feedback welcome.
