I have hyperlipidemia, a genetic condition where your lipids are high no matter how good your diet, and medication is the only answer.
Sometimes I wish I had started the statins when my doctor recommended them two years before my double bypass in 1998. I've been taking lots of meds since, and no bad side effects, doing great. Except I can't seem to get rid of this damn case of A.G.E.
