Also first time wearing something other than a nightie or hospital gown. Managed very loosely tied elastic-waisted shorts and a soft and loose singlet top. Shorts were tricky to get right - loose enough not to be uncomfortable on the surgery site but not so loose they fell down round my ankles while i walked down the main suburban street. Such a relief that they held up ok. 😂
