We also have some winter-hardy greens - sorrel, parsley, mizuna - growing by the kitchen.
My current project is removing the overgrown grass from the strip of council land outside our house so I can sow it with flowers and herbs for the neighbourhood to enjoy.
I am doing most of the work with a knife which isn't a commonly used garden tool here, but I don't think I've scared anyone yet!
