The projection employed by the right is interesting, but what is truly, TRULY shocking is their penchant to blatantly lie. Lies they KNOW are unbelievable.
The evidence is there. Courts are using it to convict the insurrectionists. To date, over 1100 have been charged, >657 have PLED GUILTY, and >380 have been incarcerated.
And the courts ARE using discretion. Only about 40% are receiving time in a cell. For an insurrection, this has been handled with kid gloves. All the Right's histrionics ("DC gulag", etc) are performative, and just makes them all the more.....shall I say it?....
