There's a brand new pothole in the street, just where SA Water had their last subterranean frolic, so I know who to thank. Someone's stuck a large traffic cone in the hole. Some bloke with a small excavator just turned up. This could be fun.

Also, the tree holes the Council made the other day now have trees in them. (Green bits upward, which is the correct orientation.) The Council's plan for single-species plantings on this street seem to have been abandoned, which is interesting but unimportant. Any tree beats no tree.

And the Indian grocer appears to be no closer to opening. Hmpf.
