I'd add to this list some more high cost big guns for squashing/preventing bugs
- typeguard (I got frustrated and stop using this)
- hypothesis (This is hit or miss if it adds value)
- mutatest/mutmut (I haven't used these)
- 100% coverage
- pyta (pre/post condition checking)
- mypy for None safety (not sure this is achievable like in other languages with null safety)
