There's a stark difference between the “AI” that's existed for years and the generative AI shitstorm embraced by the broligarchs as their latest scheme to wreck the world while lining their pockets.

Before AI we had crypto, NFTs, the metaverse, etc. These are all signs of an industry that has long since forgotten how to innovate and are now focused on outright fraud and market manipulation.
