I think purely for the geekiness and robustness of org and playback. Which SHOULD be included my Mac's native Music app. But it so isn't.
It does irk me that I've had to pay out for something that should be free but, eh, that's where we are.
I also love seeing the purple star that means I'm listening to a bit-perfect copy with no transcoding (on my Eversolo) but that is coming close to hi-fi irrationality, I admit.
