They made a lot of serious changes to jumping and motorslicing to change how they feel and how momentum works. You now just drop straight down rather than rocket off ledges walking off so when they hide a collectible on an underhang you don't have to play a game of Worms to land on it. Just loads of little changes that were all trying to address apparent jank and issues people had with the movement.
