Costs like $6.50? Or maybe that's the whole trip (I have a connecting bus, so maybe this leg of the journey is $3 or whatever).
I will never understand why more people don't use mass transit.
Can't afford it? Here's the secret "unlock" phrase in the SF Bay area to ask the bus operator when boarding:
"May I please have a courtesy ride?"
If they reply with a "yes"? (And they usually do!) Bam! Free travel!
