Kat has taken it upon herself to try "beading" QR codes. Apparently it involves something called "square stitch".

Yes, this actually scans... though often not super speedy. Google (boo hiss) Lens scans it faster than Binary Eye seems to manage, the latter particularly struggles in low light.

Does anyone know where you can buy beads that are more square in dimension...?

Also, Kat is a software developer looking for a job. If you'd like to employ the sort of UK-based nerd who would try to make a QR code out of beads then look no further. 😅 She's starting to bead rude word QR codes now too.
