I could see how, but I tend to check packages when there's a few variants.
I...actually want to contribute one to AUR, myself. The obs-localvocal plugin ( https://github.com/royshil/obs-localvocal/ ) for live captions in OBS isn't updated frequently, and on Linux that's actually often an issue when on a semi-bleeding-edge distro like Arch. The pre-built libraries for whisper-cpp were out-of-date for my ROCm, and I had to build from source, and even find a build flag not referenced in the documentation to FULL build from-source including whisper-cpp.
