I have a good relationship with my dad but I'm pretty sure he's technically a millionaire now and has never offered to help me financially. I don't think the thought has ever crossed his mind, nor would I even accept money from him. The only thing I've thought about is "hey, dad, I want to buy a house and I don't want to take a loan from a bank so can you front me the mortgage so I can save some money on interest" but I genuinely think he would argue that I'd just owe him the interest and we wouldn't do it.
