is there a word for the thing white male numetal vocalists did a lot in the early 00s like
ooh ah ah ah ah (disturbed)
da bummm da da mm da na ee ma (korn)
was this present in earlier incarnations of metal? I gather there have always been guttural noises/primal screams and whatnot, is there a whole vocabulary of these?
it’s easy to make fun of but clearly also a skill? my mouth cannot make those sounds.
