I don't even think there is any particular reason to think my niece is gay. He's just panicking at the idea that there might be things he'll have to accept about his child, & he doesn't get any say in it.

She's 10 years old & has not really expressed any interest in people of any gender yet (although I presume it would also not be acceptable if it were to turn out that she is asexual).

But the wolf-girl thing proves she's got a non-standard identity already, so anything could happen.
