For my imagining, I use #darktable, which absolutely trashes lightroom. For editing, I switched to #Resolve and gradually migrated off premiere, which is garbage.
After Effects just didn’t have competition, even though it’s throughly outdated in almost all respects. Held together by the thousands of plugins you needed to batter it to life.
My biggest client was Amazon, designing and animating explainer videos, until they fired their department and started using generative crap.
