I sowed clover rich grass seed between the beds in our vegetable garden. I wanted to improve the amount of nitrogen in the ground in a natural way.

I had noticed that the clover rich areas between the beds were much greener but put that down to the fact that we water those areas of the garden.

Now I come to think of it, other areas of the lawn with lots of clover which are *not* watered have stayed much greener through the summer than clover free parts of the lawn.
