This space remains one of the highest-signal communities I interact with.
For me, the warning sign will be when it stops attracting curious, unconventional thinkers, people with strange and interesting perspectives who challenge assumptions, arrive at unexpected conclusions about society, and sometimes genuinely change how I see the world. If we lose those people, that’s when I’ll worry.
There are still great minds here, and I believe we can figure things out. But sometimes that requires humility, coming together around a greater purpose, and remembering that this was never supposed to be only about “number go up.”
