I should have taken a before photo. Imagine all the plants leaning on the fences lying across the path without fences to lean on.

I had the thought of mini fences earlier and already did it 😯

It's not perfect, they're going deeper in the soil, but I need to move some irises first. And for now it's a big improvement :)
