I designed a winery in Napa using entirely passive heat & cooling. Super insulated walls, ventilation ports low on the prevailing wind wall, temperature activated fans on the upper gable end. We also used an alternative winery waste disposal system with emitters at the roots of a grove of redwood trees instead of a typical leach field.
