My poor mailman came by and I excitedly said,
“Quick! Put on these glasses and look at the sun!”
“At the SUN?!”
“Yes! YES! It’s a partial eclipse!!”
“WOW! How did you know that was happening!”
I told him I follow astronomers and scientists and weather people and lots of Europeans and... He could not wrap his head around this being a Known Thing That People Knew About. Actually, not sure he got it that it’s predictable in advance and has been for 1000’s of years!
Just glad I got to share it!
